I had a successful claim with a company a couple of years ago and now be has been in touch sayin they have teamed up with prev company and can now get me the rest of the money owed as they say the banks have held other money back but I'm not so sure and having read all these reviews it looks like it mite be a waste of time
I would contact your bank direct as this happened to me after I used Brunel Franklin. They contacted me to say I could make further claims on older loans as law had changed. I rang Natwest myself as they have a PPI number on the website and within 2 months I had received PPI refunds on 5 previous loans and a credit card. I rang other banks I had had credits cards with and recieved further refunds. All it took was a few phone calls and about 1 form to complete. I am now investigating whether I can claim back on a pre-paid bank account I had too as that was mis-sold to me.0 -

You cannot now "claim" against them for charging you for this "service" I'm afraid.0 -
In fact I was received over £10000 and Brunel Franklin made £2400 from it for what I know now due to making further claims on credit cards and more loans going further bank. For me it just seemed to be a couple of phone calls and the completion of a form. The government seem to be doing things regarding some of these pay day loaning companies but they should do something about these PPI compensation companies and it's actually money the banks owe you and most seem to be happy to just pay out.Does anyone know if you can actually make a claim against companies like Brunel Franklin as I do feel like I was mugged by them.

I know this was a long time ago you posted this but for anyone reading this knowing the deadlines coming up. I would advise that if your in an IVA, debt management plan or every been declared bankrupt DO NOT USE A CMC. I used to work for one and we had to ask if you were and if you told us you were then we would not take your case so as to not leave you in a worse position. Likelihood is that they will take the lot and still owe the CMC0
