Changed mobile provider, how do I copy contacts

Hi there
I am changing mobile provider (the switch will happen on Monday), but I need to know how to copy my contacts (and texts/photos??) from one handset to another (both Nokia). Vodafone recommend their 360 service but I think there is a charge for this? I have both the handsets (will charge the new one tonight), so hoping to do this over the weekend.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

On my last Nokia there was a setting so that the new phone contacted to the old via bluetooth and moved everything over. I think it may have started when the phone first came on?0

Download the Ovi suite for nokia phones, this should allow you to backup one nokia phone to the pc, and then move the contacts to a new nokia phone.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
There are two ways of constructing a software design: One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies0 -
Yes there are lots of options.
Nokias come with a menu option to send everything across by Bluetooth or infra-red.
You can also use PC/Ovi suite to synchronise your phone with your PC or Nokia's online services.
You could also use an on-line backup service like Google Sync (or vodafone 360) which works with almost any phone.
My advice would be to regularly use one of the PC or online synchronisation services, that way if you ever change (or lose) your handset all your data is safe.0 -
Thank you for your replies.
I have downloaded the info from my old phone onto Nokia PC Suite, so when the new phone goes live this afternoon, I should be able to download the info onto the new handset.
Fingers crossed.0
