Phone contracts and the law?

If you are on an 18 month deal and it expires can the phone company (t-mobile) still legally carry on charging you even though you have a new phone with a different company?

Cheers

A contract is for a minimum term not a maximum. At the end of the minimum term it changes to a rolling 30 day contract, you are required to give 30 days notice to end it.

Yeah, if you're going to write to them you have to make sure you can track it.
