Estimated cost to fit a single radiator

in LPG, heating oil, solid & other fuels
I'm wanting to fit something along the lines of a K2 Stelrad radiator, approx size 1000mm x 600mm situated downstairs in the lounge and about 6 feet from the boiler which is under the stairs. Can anyone give me a rough indication of what would be a reasonable price for someone to carry this out. Also, would I be better buying the rad myself or getting them to do it ?

    What boiler and type of system do you have? This could make a lot of difference to the price.

    I have an old Vaillant VCW 242 EH combi boiler. I'm afraid I've no clue when it comes to central heating so I'm not even sure what exactly would need to be done in terms of labour etc.
