3 change payg terms
Did not see this on here but 3 have changed there terms of their payg scheme.
Free 3-3 calls have gone.
When you top up you now get the usual rubbish of twitter/skype/messenger and 150mb data but the free calls to other 3 phones have gone.
When you top up you get the option of purchasing an add on. £10 gets you 100 minutes, 3000 texts and 500mb data.
If you want you can also pay £5 for 300 3-3 minutes.
Add ons last 30 days.
To be honest in my view this offer is rubbish, you may as well get the rolling 1 month £10 sim only deal that offers a hell of a lot more, or even giffgaff which offers more on there payg scheme.

Has anyone any idea when this started?
Topped up Granny and Grandas phones on Monday and certainly did'nt notice this, in fact I'm near certain the free 3 to 3 calls were listed in the top-up details.

It looks like it depends which tariff you are on:-

Yeah, my in-laws are still getting their allowance on 3pay, so looks like its only new users who are getting this wonderful new deal

I just transferred my number from t-mobile to 3 so I could call free to other 3 phones, I noticed that free 3-3 is until 15th Deecember, does that mean then if you have an older 3 sim, that you might not get free calls?0 -

The 15th Dec date will be when you're 90 day limit for free 3-3 call ends, unsure at the moment if we'll be allowed to top up again and receive the extras next time its due (but presume we will as we've been on this for a while).
Every so often they change the deals but if you're older 3 sims were 3Pay then I would expect to receive the extras but if you take a new PAYG sim from "Three" then you will only have the option of the new deal.
I thought 3pay was a good deal for low users and I transferred the inlaws to it because of the free 3to3 calls, especially as we have 5 contracts at home all with Three.
I wouldn't be keen on the new deal at all.

You still get your free skype to skype calls for free. You do not have to top up to get them.0
