Which network similar to 02?
I have 02 at the mo and the service is good in the house and around but the customer service is worse than awful!
Wife has t-mob and daughter Orange, neither of which have good service. Does anyone know if/which service provider will give similar to 02 or am i forced to go back with them!
Thanks in advance

Well you've only Voda to try. Get a free Voda payg sim and try it. Coverage will depend on many factors, trying a sim is the best way to find out.0

Will the phone make a difference, want/hope to get the Desire!0

Simplest way, order the Desire online, you're then covered by the distance selling regs, you have 7 days to send it back if it doesn't work for you. Just be careful where you order from, some retailers won't take them back if they've been used !0

Phone shouldn't make a difference, as said above, get a PAYG sim and try before you buy. Will the phone make a difference, want/hope to get the Desire!
Most people are concerened about coverage, and coverage has got a lot better in the last 5 years but the various networks use different 'channels' to transmit the calls over the air. It is these 'channels' or frequency/wavelength differences that can cause indifferent 'coverage' issues when you are inside a house. Depending on whether the house is brick, stone or timber frame, different network providers will have different coverage results. Apparently, one of the major provides uses a wavelength that is exactly the same as a domestic house brick, this means someone living in a brick house will get interference(and with digital this means poor signal) whilst someone living in, say, a cave, could receive excellent signal.0 -
get a giffgaff sim? o2 network0
-
tesco mobile also o2 network0
-
Do you know anyone on other networks other than orange and t mob who get good signal0

I'm in the same position and currently deciding whether to go Giffgaff or Tesco. The giffgaff site is awful so I'm thinking Tesco.0

I agree that the giffgaff site is pretty bad but I do like their business model. Tesco CS is abysmal and I honestly wonder if Tesco actually run the business or if it's handled by a third-party on their behalf. If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button
