HI guys.
I am currently a staff member with O2 and am on the tariff which is a 24month contract £20 a month and it is meant to be unlimited everything, but this does not seem to be the case. After using my phone to stream Catchup TV i have found that this month I have used over 3GB in my allowance and have received this message.
"O2: Your data usage is exceptionally high and breaks our fair usage policy. See o2.co.uk/datainfo for more info. Reduce usage or we'll have to stop data access"
Now after checking he staff website ... o2fanclub.co.uk/membersonly/ It states that this tariff is "totally unlimited" in their own words.
I rang staff accounts yesterday and and after having to wait for the lady yesterday half an hour on the phone she came back to tell me although their is no fair usage amount on staff contracts their still is a fraud prevention team which monitors high usage accounts. After arguing with her that if there is no fair usage policy how can the fraud prevention team put a figure on when an account is "high usage", she said shell get a manager to ring me back in the next 24 hours. It has now been 24 hours and I have not received any call from anyone.
I have also contacted my own manager who has told me he is not aware of any limit on staff accounts and has always been told that the tariff im on is totally unlimited...
Am i getting screwed?? I dont know what I should do now... anyone give me any advice??
Thanks in advance

All networks have a high usage for fraud prevention, they have too. The fraud dept monitor all acc's.
Just because someone works for a network doesn't mean they won't abuse the system or even just lose their phone and some joker starts to use it.
I don't work for O2, but I can tell you we have the same 3 gig limit on our staff acc's.0 -
The text message is automated; I suggest you use your phone as normal and if anything happens, that's when you can complain.
The worst that can happen is data gets stopped once you've used the fair usage amount.0
