    Hi Nikki

I'm in Edinburgh have a job next friday in Livingstone you might be asked to go somewhere in the local area not just the city, I think Edinburgh includes East and West Lothian as well so its a pretty big area I could potentially be asked to work in.

It took about 2 months for me to get an interview and another 7 weeks to get my discolsure through, which has been a bit of a pain.

Well I survived my 1st Babysitting job last night! :) The family Dog was more hassle than the 8 year old I was looking after!!

My brother cancelled the planned car boot sale we were due to go to yesterday morning as the weather was not great overnight but are going to go to one in a few weeks.

Had a pretty good weekend unfortunately goign back to work tomorrow after my 2 weeks holiday :(

If you like working with children, you could try residential schools/ children's homes. These take on 'sessional' or casual workers to help when they are short staffed. As they are 24 hour services you can fit this around a day job by working weekends and eves.

Had my 2nd babysitting job on Thursday night which went well and am babysitting again tonight, by next Saturday I will have made around £120!! The job I had booked for Friday cancelled early in the week but it was a blessing in disguise as I was shattered so went home from work yesterday and lazed around the house for a while, before going out last night.

Have managed so far not to touch the money that I have earned from my babysitting. That in itself has been a huge achievement for me as Pre MSE I would have headed out and spent every penny really quicky!

    Hiya Miss Fairy! :p

Thats what I'm going to be aiming for from now until March then will have to carefully select my saturday nights again until next October. No spending going out on the weekends just earning some extra money. Its all good :)

Am lucky the agency have bookings all week so from March to October can do a week night or 2 along the way. :)

Well done, sounds great :) I was going to try sitters for childcare but can't as they won't deal with families with children with special needs, which is a shame.
One day I might be more organised...........
