Have you looked into Alcuia, Majorca? Lots to do for the kids, very family orientated and they also have a water park0

i went to aqualand in corfu in june with my family and loved every minute of it. i wrote a nice review of it on trip advisor. we got a great deal through thomas cook £2100 for 4 people from bristol. we would go again next year if the price was as good but it seems to be more like £3000. hth0

I'm even more tempted on Aqualand now, I have been priced £2100 too for a family of four in June, I visited a few travel agents over the weekend and waiting for them to get back with some quotes.
Would anyone know if it's wise to book a brand new hotel, there are two opening summer next year with water park, with no reviews I'm obviously confused.0 -
Hi, we have stayed at the Holiday Village Costa del Sol - very good for kids, water park on site - gets a bit boring for us adults though. There are also Holiday Villages in Majorca and the Algarve - all a short flight from the UK. I would say you need to think about when you are going to go - eg. are you taking the kids out of school - because the HV's have a tendency to be extortionate prices in school holiday times...good luck!0

avoid the club mac marte at all costs. We were duped by the travel agent to go there a couple of years ago - i think travel agents must be on commission to push this place. It is a dirty horrible place that has no space for the people there will very little for the kids to do. It is 3 sister hotels on one site and we stayed in the Marte. I think it was the Jupiter that seemed a bit better. The plus to this place was alcudia beach - lovely0

what is the price like?? alot of people put bad reviews but have forgot how much they paid. it if a cheap hotel you can afford to eat out some meals if it's that bad.. the H top hotels on the costa brava are really cheap but get some really bad reviews but for as little as £15 per head all inc what do they expect i love them free drinks for me, free icecream & drinks all day for the kids and if the evening dinner dont look that special i can afford to eat out :O)0

This is so true karenmay.
Where i stayed i paid £200 for the week s/c
It would have been £550 to go a/i.
I know for a fact we spent way more than £350 on drinks, breakfast etc. We did say when we go back we'll go a/i but eat out for evening meal - im not a fan of school canteen style catering _pale_
We spent 140 euro on breakfast with a drink each through the week (4 of us)
60 euro on drinks/ice cream day times (i know this because i had to buy tickets that came in books of 30 euro and i bought 2)
god knows how much on lunch and evening drinks
So yes, we so wish we had gone a/i for the sake of being able to have breakfast.snacks for the kids etc on tap.
Oooh im getting all excited now for next years hols!!Everyone who thanks me when ive helped will get a 5% share when I win this weeks Euromillions......:p0
