Blackberry question

Not sure if this is the right place to ask!

I'm currently on a t-mobile contract with unlimited internet- my phone is on it's last legs and i can't upgrade for another year, so i'm planning on buying a blackberry, but i was just wondering the following:

Will i be able to use the internet on the blackberry by simply putting the contract sim into the pay as you go phone, or will it not work?

Are there any features that i will not be able to use for definite?

I can not wait till i can upgrade, 24 month contracts seem such a long time!

To make a BB work you have to have the Blackberry addon (BIS). They may let you change your internet bundle for the BB bundle ?
  • Not true. I have a Blackberry without BIS. Download a third party browser such as Opera mini. Works fine on Orange if you alter the APN settings. You cant use the native browser, push email or Blackberry messenger though.

I downloaded the Blackberry apps world via my laptop and nearly all apps work fine. A few do need BIS such as Telmap Navigator.
