How do these retards seriously think these posts are going to convince people this is a legit site?
It's a bit of a mystery but, when you consider the success of scammers who can get people to believe that some African prince is prepared to give them, a random individual, one third of a multi-million pound fortune you can see why they might think it worth a try. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

It must convince some the dimmer and greedy amongst us I guess unfortunately.
I saw an article yesterday about a single boiler room scan that we brits lost over £200 million too. £200 MILLION !!!!!!, people must be either really greedy, stupid or both LOL
Dont get me wrong I do feel for anyone scammed out their money, but it is 2011 and these scams have been VERY widely publishised in the media and online.0 -

got an unsolicited email invite to join this morning. Checked it out and it looks too good to be true! Was hoping someone could tell me if the site is real or a big con. Never heard of it till this morning. I know Martin always says if it looks too good to be true, it probably is, therefore I want advice from other money savvy peeps. Has anyone else been to/and or used this site?0 -

Won about 6 lots of items from this site since August, received none.
Have emailed biddi and first excuse - volume of orders has casued delays.
2nd excuse - large delays with european and far east depots.
3rd exuse - delays with shipping items.
These items were all listed as in stock if they were surely 42days after winning an item is long enough to send it out, they say 21days.
I am beginning to think they are just listing items, they are not in stock and they don`t know when they will be, if ever.
Bidi.com more like .con
If you have won on this site have you had your win or is it just me?0 -
There are potentially a number of things which might be amiss with this site, (apart from it actually being a clear con from start to finish). Firstly, there is no way of knowing whether anyone bidding against you is a genuine customer or employed by Biddi (or KSB Trading Ltd). If, for example, you take a shine to an object, start using your bids which are costing you 0.50p each, and someone starts bidding against you, at what point do you decide to cut your losses and pull out? Or do you carry on regardless? If the opposing bidder is a member of Biddi staff, they can continue as long as they need to rack up the price. If you pull out, it is likely someone else will be on line, watching and waiting to see if they can get in with just a couple of bids. If you have however, committed yourself to a number of bids where the cost to you is now too great to pull out, your only option is to continue to bid until you have used enough bids, the cost of which now equal the RRP. By offsetting your bid costs against the RRP, you can use the Buy Now option.
Secondly, if you have either succeeded in winning the bid, or have bought the item via Buy Now, you will have to pay any balance and the P&P charges and then wait for delivery. Their T&C suggest you allow up to 21 days for delivery "although we aim to dispatch as soon as possible". If anyone has received goods within 21 days, I would be interested to hear. I have been waiting for 2 items for 42 days. My latest enquiry attracted the response, "
I can confirm that we are running behind with deliveries of orders and unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas". Both the items I am waiting for were noted as "In Stock". So they will have my money for more than 10 weeks, and I will have nothing! If you cancel the order, you will be refunded with actual money paid but not for bids purchased. As this constitutes the majority of the amount paid out, your loss will be considerable. However, there may be a way out. The Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994 instructs that where there is no specific delivery date quoted, it is reasonable to expect delivery within 30 days. Based on this, and on the basis that non-delivery of goods shown on the auction site as "In Stock" are now being excused as delays in supply, suggests that the items in question were not in fact, available. This may therefore put the T&C unenforceable under the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. This is therefore the stance I shall be taking and the Small Claims procedure in the County Court might be the eventual outcome. I'll let you know how it pans out.0 -
There is nothing amiss with Biddi. It is one of the most obvious, blatent rip off's known to man. Only a complete idiot would pay to bid on something.
They hold no stock at all, they simply wait until enough idiots dribble over their keyboard throwing money at them until they have £000's in bids, and then order one from Amazon for the "lucky fool".
There is no future for mankind if people fall for this old nonsense.0 -
Hi, did you take any action. I am waiting also for a lot of items. The excuses are ridiculous. I have some items dating back to september. I would also go to small claims or crown court. Let me know how you get on.0

Hi, I worked for that company back in 2009-2010 and I also worked on biddi.com as a developer. It was my first job in UK, I am from Moldova. I left the company in September 2010. They never gave me P45 of P60 forms. I request those forms all the time but they always find some excuses. I called local tax office today and it seems that my employment with them was never registered!
can you please advise me what should I do next to get my tax paid?0 -
regarding your topic, I found this funny poll they did on facebook dl.dropbox.com/u/45940875/biddi-com-survey-facebook.jpg
If someone could attach it, I am not allowed being newby here0
