Changing tarrif

Hi there,

I took out a 2 year contract with Vodafone, and I'll soon be a year into it.

Does anyone know if I'll be able to
  1. Upgrade the phone (I have a Samsung tocco lite, which is troublesome!)
  2. Change my tarrif (downgrade)- or am I stuck with the same tarrif for the full 2 years?
Thanks folks

Soonest you can upgrade would be 3 months before the end of the contract, but the longer you leave it the better the offer you'll get.
  • you can only downgrade your tariff once you are half way through the contract, and then only in stages (i.e. £5 at a time, and you can downgrade once a month).

However, this is ONLY for contracts that were taken out prior to May 2009, their contracts from that date have no downgrade option, which just plain sucks!
