You'll always get a better deal when you're out of contract, that's the way the system works.0

They have a fantastic offer that finishes today if you provide your own phone, i.e. sim only.
£10 for 300 minutes, unlimited texts and free bolt on either unlimited o2 to o2 or unlimited landline calls.
They also have £15 for 600 minutes etc

I don't know if they will allow you to switch early.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
There could be a dozen new phones released between now and the 19th of November and a myriad of new deals or tariffs to go with them. Even then, I would do what Jon01 says and wait until closer to your end date. The idea is to not seem too keen, don't hand them your business on a plate. If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

For the best deals wait until one month before February which is when you can give notice.
It's a well known trick to offer a relatively poor upgrade option a few months before the contact is up to try and tie the customer in for another 18/24 months, because there's little room for negotiation on the customers part.
When it does get to the time where you can give notice, the best deals are nearly always offered by the retentions team. You may need to request your PAC code to prompt the best deal.0
