    OK:
    1. Down to 11st by end of the year - 31st Dec 2010 - cut out the junk I keep finding and eating. No going to the shop and buying stuff unless it's on a list!
    2. TEFL course - 1st July 2012 - find course I want to do (check), find out cost (check), start course (May bursary payment will cover that)
    3. Move to Finland - 1st September 2012 - get Finnish language book (October 2010 Amazon), learn basic Finnish (now until move date)
    4. Get a 1st in my degree - 6th July 2012 - read all things for each lesson. Plan essays. Ask for help if needed. Don't rest on my laurels but work harder.

The rest I kind of have no control over....so I can't do much with them...yet I'll keep those 4 going :D

  • Boy, today went fast. Got a call first thing from my boss to ask me to take a display to an afternoon jobs fair. Today. And no display existed! Spent the morning putting one together which I enjoyed, haven't done that for years and then pootled of to the arts centre in town for the afternoon.

Bit of a waste of time for people visiting but made a couple of useful contacts and good to be 'seen' as we just don't do that kind of thing. Well we do now :D I enjoyed the day.

There was someone there with another organisation I worked with in the mid 90s. I used to think he was a !!!!!! head back then. I thought - I see you still are! :rotfl:

Hi everyone, I am loving seeing all of your challenges here.

Sorry I havent really joined in I am just still a bit snowed under with work.

I guess my biggest and most important challenge is to be mortgage free by 12/12/12 this will be done if I stop wasting money which I seem to have a grip of at the moment.

No takeaways for over a fortnight now, that is something for us lot believe me.

I am making full use of the slow cooker :D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
