You know, all this setting goals and stuff is really good, but I've just had an attack of major frustration over it all! I'm getting totally confused over which courses I'd be best to do (I've just emailed one of the places with a load of questions - having already asked lots - they'll be sick of me!).. and just thinking grrr why isn't it all sorted now instead of in a few year's time!

I'm glad I'm not the only one Squizz, I had that exact meltdown yesterday, I ended up putting it all into a month by month spreadsheet

Good morning

I was lazy and went back to bed
, just had a coffee and some breakfast, now i'm going to get dressed and get myself presentable.
Although i did clean kitchen and living room before i went back to bed it was brill both rooms took 20 mins in total not 2 hours like usual, (All the de cluttering has made it a lot easier.
still to do, sort out a load of washing done
make my bed done
get dressed. done
Then my goal is to sort out all these boxes in the corner of the dining room (may take some time, but i'm going to have a good try.
need to go to whsmiths for some organisers to put the stuff in as i'm sorting.
I will think about the challenge as i'm de cluttering

Pooky, I hope they figure out what's causing you to feel meh?
Can I have a think about mine please, I'm 1/2 asleep! I went on a training course in London yesterday and my brain cells aren't fully functioning! PLus the food made me a tad ill, but helped towards my 1lb weight loss.
DO you think my boss would allow me to fall asleep at my desk?
Ames, what Economics course are you doing next year with the OU? If it's the same one sa me, do you fancy having a virtual 'study buddy'?
LMC x
It's DD202 - Economics and Economic Change, if it's the same one it'd be great to have a virtual study buddy!
I'll have to think about my list, I think it'll be a long post when I do it!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
- Being debt free – July 2012
- Remove head from sand – finally done!
- Obtain basic bank account – done! J
- Waiting to obtain 3rd credit report so I can compare them with my other two and see who I owe what (different debt collectors trying to claim the same debts argh).
- Send correct debtors F&F offers (for smaller debts) and monthly payment offers (to the larger ones)
- Try and save up on the side to get them paid off quicker.
- Completing my degree – July 2016
- Enroll on Evening Access Course for English Lit & Philosophy – start induction tomorrow night! J
- Apply to Open University for my degree course for 2012 term (once I’m debt free J), meaning I can still work full time and pay by monthly direct debit (interest rate is really low).
- Hope to have the degree course completed by 2016
- Become a published author – hopefully have first full book written and sent off to publishers by Xmas 2012
- Make a point of writing and reading regularly to keep creative juices flowing – doing J
- Gather ideas and inspiration over the next few months
- Officially start The Book during my 2 weeks off during Xmas J
- Spend the next 2 years making it as perfect as I can and ready for publishers’ eyes (might not need that long, but don’t want to rush it either).
- Research list of agents and publishers (I know I could go the “self published” route, but I’d prefer to leave it to the professionals).
- Get my masterpiece sent off and sit back and wait for any response!
- Distract myself by starting on book no. 2, naturally.

- Be living in my “forever” home – 2017
- Don’t mind living in rented accommodation until my “forever” home. I know it’s paying someone else’s mortgage, but I’d like to work on repairing and having a good credit history to attract the best mortgage rates possible by 2017.
- Be married – 2012
- The perfect wedding, for me, is something small and private. If I could get away with running off to Gretna for the day, I would. But my family would be most huffy, I fear. Nonetheless, I would like it to be something inexpensive, but nice and personal to us both. I don’t want to spend 18 months planning it and letting all sorts of expenses creep in. I wouldn’t even care about a honeymoon to be honest; making a “forever” commitment to the man I love would be all that mattered. J
- Had first child – 2013
- I shan’t go into detail…
- Go a full year without forgetting an important birthday/event – Dec 2011
- Get myself a personal organiser, carry it with me everywhere and become accustomed to using it!!!

Ames, that's the course I'm going to be doing. Second time lucky for me too, I had to give it up as I fell behind for various reasons.
Cool, that's a small part of the elephant nibbled awya!0 -

That's a good idea, I've just made a start - although I won't be putting everything in it! :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
