briquettes v logs

hi
does anyone have any experiance with using these briquette things???
i have been offered briquettes made from oak @ £250 per 1000kgs delivered, the logs i usually get are £30 per m3 with me cutting and splitting them these can hard or soft wood depends on when i ask for a delivery. sometimes i can get hardwood seasoned cut and split for £60 m3
i really need to know if th briquettes are worth the expence
