            Just a thought...
Does the CPU you're using require a more recent version of the BIOS than the motherboard perhaps came with?0

I've re-read both threads on the subject.
In terms of the eliminating stages, unless I'm wrong you still have not changed the PSU. Yes I realise you don't have a spare one without stripping your other machine, but it would take 15 minutes to strip it out test in your new MOBO and another 15 minuted to put it back.
.1. 11,520 minutes later you have not invested just 30 minutes to do the validation test, why ?
.2. did you ever get a speaker fitted to the MOBO for diagnostic purposes ?
.2. point me in the direction of the MOBO [ pdf ] book~of~words please.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. Not seen you answer this question
 THESE are motherboard risers
Can you confim you used a bank of these to offset your motherboard from the case. It should sit a noticable distance away from the bottom/side of your case with ZERO chance of anything being grounded.
If you've not used these and screwed it directly to a sheet of metal shorting everything out that'll be whats fried it.
Sry, need to eliminate the obvious first.....
alsoI'm damn sure distance selling states you've got 28 days to return.
 its 7 days I'm afraid.....0
