Oh, I know just how you feel! Although I know really that committing criminal damage would be (rightly) considered overkill. Talking of wing mirrors, when people are parked on the pavement it is often the wing mirrors that obstruct pedestrians so I push them in. Unfortunately I once pushed one in that wasn't a folding one (or had stuck somehow) and it broke off . . . Rather ashamed to say I walked off smartly without admitting what I'd done. Another time, I was walking along when a driver parked with two wheels on the pavement just ahead of me then got out of the car. As I reached her I gave her a big smile, and she smiled back, until I said "You know, it's a funny thing, I thought this was a pavement, not a car park". I've never actually heard of anyone being fined for parking on the pavement - I get the impression nowadays that it is considered acceptable (except to wheelchair users, mobility scooter riders and mums with buggies!):mad:
