swapping memory cards
a quick question about memory cards:
i have a symbian phone (nokia 5530), and i've got several apps and things installed, both on the phone and the memory card.
so far i've been using a 2gb memory card, but i've decided to upgrade to a 16gb card (the maximum size the phone will take).
would it be possible to simply copy everything (directory structure, hidden files, system files etc) from the 2gb card to the 16gb card and just carry on using the phone? or will i have to reinstall all the apps from scratch?

Can't you just back everything up to your PC, swap the cards then copy everything back to the phone? If I've helped you please show your appreciation by using the "Thanks" button

yes, that was the plan, but i don't know whether that would work with the apps and things, or whether the phone would throw a wobbly about the sudden change in size of the card. if it's simply a matter of getting everything from card A onto card B and that's all, then that's fine!0
