Hi everyone
Had a mad few days. Firstly, my uncle's mum passed away on Saturday. She was 96 but he is distraught bless him.
Secondly - I am going to be an auntie again :j:j:j:j. And for the record, I think it's a boy(I have been right the other 2 times). My sister is very excited but also very nervous. For those who don't know, she had a little boy called Joshua 5 years ago but he was very premature and died at 18 days old. Thankfully we now have my little angel Ellie who is 4 in May (she was also premature).
Anyway, I have been working over the past few days but have come down with a cold. Need to pull my finger out and get answering. OH is visiting his parents this weekend so I have a whole Saturday to just lock myself away in my flat and answer questions all day. My target for the end of the month is £1,000 and I am currently on £367. Aiming for £400 by the end of the evening.
Better crack on.

Yuck
- this cold is really taking effect now. Woke up this morning with such a sore throat, I had to wait an hour before I was able to take any tablets. Hoping it will die down quickly. I have the hospital on Monday and I always seem to get something before I go there so they always think I am ill.
Anyway, been working away today and will update on my total at the end of Sunday when I hope I would have caught up. I have done a few surveys today and one of which will boost my Luncheon vouchers by another £3 so I will have £9 towards a valentines day meal or takeaway.
Boosted my Jackpot Joy money by another 50p this morning so have £1.90 now. I'm going to build it up through February and withdraw at the beginning of March. My gran's birthday isn't until mid march and I want to try to get more than £10 so that I can get a few free birthday cards too.
My sister went to the docs to confirm her pregnancy and has a due date of 9th September (same day as OH's birthday!). We think she will be early again though so more likely to be August. I had to seriously resist the urge to buy a little blue duffle coat yesterday. I also have the priveledge of naming the baby - I think my sister wants to let me as I will never have a child of my own. Not sure that my BIL has agreed to it yet though!

Congratulations on becoming an Auntie again! Hope you feel better soon x"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Thanks Jwil and Lou xx
Came home to find a nice freebie pink notepad that will fit well in my handbag. Nice to have a freebie.

Feel like crying. I just can't stop coughing. It's an annoying tickly cough but nothing can get rid of it or even subdue it for a bit. I slept about 4 hours last night but woke up and had a massive coughing fit which made me throw up.
My lungs are aching, my stomach is aching and I have such a headache which gets worse with every cough. I'm not eating that much as I just don't feel like it with the coughing. My voice is croaky and throat is sore. I really hope this doesn't last too long. I have about 5 bottles of cough mixture but none of them work.
Going to the shop later though to see if there are any cough mixtures I haven't tried.

Feel a bit better today. I think I got more sleep last night. I woke up coughing at one point (about 3.30am I think), took another lot of cough mixture, had a sneaky look at the Andy Murray tennis score and went back to bed. But then I woke up about 7.30am on the sofa and can't remember how I got there - spooky.
Tried to go back to bed but was woken by the most annoying postie in the world who insists on ringing my very loud intercom until I answer it.
Anyway, received another freebie - a 6 pack of crisps to test for a survey site. Speaking of which, I just spent ages on To Luna building up my points so I am around 10k off getting another £15 voucher (although they still owe me one voucher - they are so slow at paying out it's unbelievable).
OH has gone off to his parents for the weekend. He came home with some flowers for me last night. I resisted the urge to ask him what he had done!! Quite glad that he's not here today though as I can hardly speak and he was taking the p**s out of me for it.
Off to put some lunch on and come up with a plan of action for the day.
