I have tried firefox and it seems to be the same as IE.
I did what Donnie suggested and it says that i am ok for DNS.
I am using the internet through a wireless connection but as i have said the problem only started about 2 weeks ago. The web pages seem to take a long time to appear.
The computer seems to feel slow but that maybe cos i am watching everything it does more closely.
I download a lot of tv torrents from thebox website and they download at 690kb/s or near enough.

Run CCleaner to clear any dross and then scan with Malwarebytes (check for updates first before scanning).

Post the Malwarebytes log file here when finished scanning.

In the last 2 weeks my computer has been getting slow when using the internet. I am with Sky broadband and i have lost connection for about 1-2 mins and the all is ok. I have a Highjackthis file below if somebody could tell me what i can doe to speed things up would be a great help. ....
For these symptoms, the first place to check is your router stats - speeds attenuations and margins or S/N ratios up and down.

If that all looks good, then you should look at your PC

    Here is....

Use the Update function on Malwarebytes' AntiMalware and then try again.

If the problem started two weeks ago, try running System Restore to a period of three weeks ago.

What torrent downloader are you using as it doesn't seem to appear in your HijackThis log file?
