Blackberry problem

I've got an unlocked Blackberry Curve 8520. Good phone however, I am unable to download app world. It comes up saying it is not compatible with your phone
Also when i try to recieve the o2 settings, it says there has been a problem with ure request
it doesnt even let me setup an email

Does anyone know how i can get app world, email and blackberry service etc.

was the phone locked to O2 network before it was unlocked?
AFAIK, if the phone was locked to different network and if you try to get BIS on another; you would not get it until, the first network releases its PIN.

Have you got Blackberry Unlimited on your account? To access the Blackberry Internet Service you will need this.

When you have it go to www.o2email.co.uk this is your email service. Set up an account, enter your email addresses and passwords (you can have up to 10 email addresses) and then click on send service books. Your email boxes should appear on your Blackberry.

You then should have access to all Blackberry email etc.

I get the same message so I don't bother with the O2 settings. I think, and you may have to check this that you may be charged for Wap browsing.

it was locked to t mobile
so will i be able to download app world and how

Do know that the pin has been released and do you have it? Nothing will work with out it.

You should be able to download App world. I bought an unlocked Storm 2 off Ebay. It was originally locked to Vodafone and I'm on O2, I had no problems at all even when I sold it the other person didn't have a problem either. All I did was take it off my BIS.
