i have just had a phone call on my mobile from a number which was unknown by me. the woman claiimed to be from o2 and when i pointed out the time at which she was calling me (10:55) she said they can contact you between the hours at 10am and 12pm which is ridiculous, i then said why is her number coming up as a mobile number she then said i don't think it is. i tried calling the number back a guy answered.
for one she claimed i had filled in a form on their website recently, the only websites i have been on recently are to do with car insurance.
so i am rather confused as to a. how she got hold of my number and b. who she was because i doubt she works for o2
any suggestions?

thanks for that but all it will say it that it is a mobile number!! which i already knew. just wondering if it was a scam very strange i guess i will never get to the bottom of it

I've had a call this morning from someone claiming to be from O2 wanting to check my account details. They didn't take me through any security information, so I declined to answer their questions. Has anyone else had this recently?
