missus recently aquired iphone4 from apple as a replacement for a 3g suffering problems on ios4,i decided she could upgrade to my 3gs and i would take care of the 4.
i am on o2 so was unable to use it luckily it came with ios 4.0.1 so jailbroke and unlocked with ultrasn0w.
is there a permanent way to unlock this phone without losing the unlock should i update phone?
tried orange but apparently will not unlock the 4 yet for some reason

I think you need to own it for at least 3 months and then take it into an Orange shop and you can get them to unlock it for you.0
