Perhaps this should go on the Vent board, anyway having within the last 4 months switched to Pipex broadband services I would like to post this "beware"
I was given the wrong information by the sales rep on the phone regarding the BB deal, I chose the free phone call package and he did'nt log it so I had to wait another month before I could use it, I was informed I would get a 2 meg download speed, not true it was 1/2 meg I was charged a migration fee it should have been free ( got a refund).By and large it works well. But here comes the BEWARE.... trying to get in contact with them is nigh on impossible they do not answer customer related emails, trying to phone them is almost impossible there is always a 10 min wait,,, or that's what the recorded message say's whenever you ring. If anyone knows another way I would be most interested.
PIPEX you STINK.

They have a reputation for bad customer service if you look through previous posts here.
Also to be aware anyway who has xtra points it closes tommorow - if your planning a last minute "buy" with them - I would start now - my Mums been unable to login over the last 3 days - and there support lines are rammed at the minute.
Not to make any aspertions but weird how everything stops working when they will have a huge last minute influx that will cost them.0 -
Needed to ring them today to get another Migration code as AOL screwed up (see posts in AOL thread)...took me 22 minutes to get through to customer services (on hold) and I rang just before 9.00am (they are available from 9.00am) turns out they cannot just re-issue a code, they have to re-enable the account so a code can be generated..so another £23.44 cost just for the code. In all, I was on the phone for just over 30 minutes

On an update for anyone who may need to ring them....last night I rang again to get my migration code...after 25minutes they tell you your call will be answered soon. It was 28 minutes before I spoke to anyone. Time taken to request MAC and ask some queries 4 minutes. Don't forget to use http://www.saynoto0870.com/ to get their geographical numberWelcome, rogerramjet.
