From the website:If it has rained 1mm or more in your 3-hour timeslot on your chosen 4km² grid-spot, you will win £10 (€10 in ROI).
To reach 1mm or more of rain, you are looking for continuous rain for three hours that you can readily feel on your face and will make the ground wet, or a slight shower that lasts for 30 minutes and causes puddles to form. It is worth remembering that a steady drizzle of three hours may not actually give 1 mm.
The winning grid-spots will be verified against data provided on a daily basis by the Met Office, and all such rainfall results provided by the Met Office will be final for the purposes of the prize allocations. No correspondence will be entered into with consumers in relation to any disputed rainfall or rainfall data.
So now it has to rain, CONTINUOUSLY, for the entire three hour slot!
How often does it ever rain constantly for 3 hours? I do not see though how they can possibly gather weather data for every single 4km square area in the UK. They only have weather stations in the large cities and towns, so how can they be accurate? Or is that the reason it never rained for anyone this week!0 -

No it doesn't say it has to rain for three hours. If it rains and you see puddles. Basically that's about 1mm. Can happen in 10 mins easily.November - 4x Doctor Who Live tickets - 4x Koala Bears - 7x Fruit Bars - Terry's Segsations - Carling Pint Glass - Brooklyns Finest DVD - £150 Walkers Rainy Days - Ipod from Kia - £5 Habitat Gift Card
