School term is school. Holidays are holidays. Not rocket science is it? If you have kids, you accept that from then on, family holidays are going to be limited to school holidays. Having children is a lifestyle choice, so you should accept these compromises.

I used to read these threads and feel angry and upset. Now my comment would be that it's very early in the year for a teacher bashing thread!

Basically what we have is parents who know what they are doing is not the right example to set but they plan to do it anyway. Then thy come on here looking for support to help ease their conscience.

I have already explained dh and i have limited holiday times throughout the year that we can take, so unfortunatly i am not one that can confirm to the perfect lives some of you lead. I also wasn't looking for support about something i was looking for opinions which is fine the ones i have..everyone has their own.
Anyway all done and agreed.
