Virgin Network

Does anyone know which network Virgin uses. Am thinking of changing to their £15/mth 300/300 contract.

Thanks in advance

  • They were on the one2one network (when I became a virgin customer in 2001) which then became T-mobile.

The number is printed on the delivery slip that comes with your SIM card. Note that you get three tries to enter the PIN, and your phone will be locked if you fail after these tries. You'll then need to contact Virgin Mobile to get a PUK code (see below).

What is my PUK code? You will be asked for your PUK code if you've had more goes at guessing your SIM card PIN code than you're allowed. You'll need to phone your Virgin Mobile's Customer Services team for your PUK code - their number is 0845 6000 789. For security reasons, it's only the network operator that can legally provide you with a PUK code to unlock your SIM.

    HTH.......

Just had a look on the Virgin 300/300 tariff and found the following line:

"on Virgin £15 (300 mins and 300 texts) 12 months free broadband and a free extra SIM"

OK don't really want the free broadband but what is the extra sim for? Can 2 people use the contract on different phones? Seems unlikely but why give an extra sim??

    Am I being incredibly stupid?

To encourage you to give it to your best friend. SIMS's are cheap to the operators.

Yes, I was being incredibly stupid! Seems sensible now, however they are out of stock of the free ones!
