Does anyone actually do unlimited?!?!?
Say if I left Youtube video playlist running all month on my phone does anyone actually do this for free?
if you do that you'll probably have a bill for £2000!
networks offer 'unlimited' internet which is usually 500mb or 1gb which are normally free with tariffs, but you can pay a extra £5/10 with certain networks and have 5gb...0 -
then surely companies can't advertise themselves as unlimited?...
i can see this a money earner for networks... ooo yea we'll jus say its unlimited, let them use it as much as they can but if it takes the !!!! lets just charge them a stupid amount... theres always going to be one person who doesn't know how to use their phone properly and leaves the internet on by mistake...0 -

The Advertising Standard People say they can.
The argument goes that although there is a fair use policy most people will not hit it so for them internet is considered to be unlimited.
I know it seems wrong but the ASA have repeatedly ruled this as the judgement.0 -
These people at the Advertising Standard Agencies must not have half a brain, or is being nice to sumone to get them into bed, or extremely uneducated.
What does the word mean?
I have set up a blog in order to expose the flaws.0 -

"Free Mobile Internet:
You lucky giffgaff pioneers can even enjoy free UK mobile Internet up to the 1st of December 2010. After that date, mobile Internet will be charged at 50p a day (if you use less than 2.5MB/day you'll pay less than 50p and if you go over 30MB you'll be charged extra at 20p/MB). But all our goodybags that include unlimited Internet will continue including unlimited Internet after the 1st of December."
So what your saying is that I can totally use internet using this SIM like viewing youtube 24/7 without addtional charges?
I can't find it in writing anywhere on the site where there is a limit.
I just need to purchase the correct goody bag for this.0 -
"Is unlimited really unlimited?
The answer is yes, we are unlimited for personal mobile use - but not for commercial and automated use. Mobile Internet allowances exclude PC use and tethering."
what is tehtering?0 -
