O2 Contracts
Did anybody know that you can not have more than one contract with O2 within six months?
I did not to my peril.
Took out a contract for my son in July and then want to do the same for my daughter.
The contract was declined due to the fact I had only taken my Son's contract.Thought I put my account number in wrong so resubmitted it the next day.
It was even worse when the agent rang to tell me that it would also affect my credit rating_GREAT.
Apparently the same is true of Orange.
Anybody got any suggestions???
Thank you

Hi there
Is there someone else who can take out the phone contract for you? Is there a Mr Hazelb32?In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
That's not true, you must have been declined for another reason then. Through 3rd party dealers then it's once every 30 days, through o2 stores as an additional line they request you wait 3 months so they have adequate billing history to check. If you've done it online and been declined then that's because of your credit score, not because you already have a contract with o2.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

Is this a new thing? I took out a contract with them february '09, then my wife decided she wanted a new phone and I took out another phone in my name(cheaper to do it in my name as I had a friends & family discount due to my work being an O2 partner) a couple of months later. There was no problem with this whatsoever, both phones were seperate contracts, both in my name!0 -
Not Credit rating just paid £2 to get that nothing wrong with that.Any other suggestions?0
