It's all very well having multiple backups, but if they're all at the same location (your house for example) and it were to burn down (say) you've lost the lot.Stompa0

Mention of NAS and also old small capacity HDs, made oi laugh.
At the weekend had a look at Freenas, old p3 processor etc, bunged in what I thought was a 60 Gb HD, turned out it was 640MB, note to self, must wear glasses more often.

Disk imaging is always the best way to backup and restore a working pc quickly (when your hard disk fails, pc gets a virus, windows won't start up)
