    That is very weird. That link I posted definitely said Vodafone Limited when I posted it in my reply. 100% certain it said Vodfaone Limited and not PrePayMania.

    I was expecting a third party like them, but saw Vodafone Limited which is why I did my edit in my reply. Very weird indeed!

    The link did state dispatched by vodafone limited and also showed prepay mania as an alternative source now it shows dispatched by prepay mania with vodafone as an alternative seller.

    Yes that is the phone as per link given by djheath.

    I`ve been into the local Vodafone shop this morning. Spoke to the deputy manageress who said they could deal with the situation after 7 days but only if my son wanted to send the phone away for repair.

    He doesn`t want a repair, he wants a refund or a replacement.

    Also attached is copy of the delivery note with our name and address blanked out.

    After reading through posts on this forum I found an e-mail address for Guy Laurance. I sent Mr Laurence an e-mail on the 20.09.2010 as of today I have not had the courtesy of a reply. Bearing in mind the shocking level of service previously afforded to me I shouldn`t really be surprised.

    However in direct response to your question, my son has received a call direct to his old contract phone from someone at Vodafone saying they were sorry to learn of his problems and offered him one month free rental on his current mobile subscription. He was so fed up with the situation he settled for what he had just been offered.

    I do know that unless the level of service dramatically improves in the next few months he will seriously consider moving to another provider when his current contract expires.

    I in the meantime won`t be holding my breath whilst awaiting a reply to my e-mail
