wanted to let people know to check with the network operator first before getting a mobile unlocked ... 2 local shops both quoted me £20-25 to unlock my new phone (i'm with o2 but bought the phone with vodafone as it was the only way to get it in pink
short of paying £50 more for a simfree one ... )
rang vodaphone as i'd read on their site it's £19.99 to unlock a phone and figured i might as well let them do it ... the guy gave me a code and now i'm using it on o2 no problem, no charge!
:money:
by the way if anyone knows how to get rid of the voda operator logo when i switch on i'd love to know lol

You would need to debrand the phone by flashing the firmware to a manufacturer unbranded firmware (which could result in a bricked handset if not done properly).0 -
