Depressed with AOL Broadband

I signed up for the 'wonderful' AOL Silver Broadband offer with a normal modem and am paying £17.99 per month. Just had a look at the free wireless router offer for AOL Silver and you only have to pay £14.99 per month, naturally this offer is for new customers, and you are stuck with them for 12 months. Seems existing customers are being ripped off
Anyone have any ideas of a better offer, I'm thinking of going to Sky as currently have TV through them and it's only a tenner a month for unlimited broadband.
