Mobile Phone Stolen by Someone at the Sony Ericsson Repair Centre

Update....
Good news, I had a call from Sony Ericsson escalations dept yesterday & they are sending me a new phone! No arguments or persuasion required, she just offered me a replacement phone straight away. I asked if it would be new or reconditioned, and she said she couldn't officially claim it was new because it wasn't in a box with accessories etc, but it would be an unused phone that had never been boxed (apparently a certain number get sent straight from the manufacturing plant to the repair centre to be used as replacements), so that's new as far as I'm concerned.
The only worry is that now I only have 3 months left on my warranty, so I'm hoping this new phone doesn't develop a fault a few months down the line like the last one did. Still its about the best outcome I could have hoped for from the situation, so I'm pretty happy. Maybe I should have pushed for an extension to my warranty to compensate for the inconvenience, but its too late now I've already agreed to their solution. I'll have to take it a bit easy with the sudoko & solitaire on the new phone, as I'm pretty sure that's what killed the last one, it just couldn't cope with that much heavy use0 -
Glad they sorted it. I don't think pushing for any compensation would have got you far. My guess, someone's been doing something naughty, they've investigated and found the problem, and they want to keep it in house. They'll never admit what happened.0

Excellent outcome about as good as you could reasonably hope for I'd say! Now please peel the sticker and put it on YouTube - you know you want to to put saddos like me out of my misery! The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster!

Sorry, I never did get around to peeling the sticker off, and the courier took the old phone away today when he brought me the new one. When I found out I was getting a new phone, I kind of stopped caring about what was underneath that sticker, but now you mention it I wish I'd looked...0
