  • Hi :hello:
all I can suggest is keeping alog of anti-social activity behaviour and blatant dealing if you are able to capture any picture / video evidence this will help eventually - contacing your community safety team. Is it a council property? if so that maybe tricky if it was private rented and you could find out who the landlord was you could threaten the landlord over section 8 or (I think) about allowing anti-social behaviour if it is a council property im not sure what you can do.
But in either case collecting proof is important...
    good luck
:j Where there is a will there is a way - there is a way and I will find it :j

In Scotland Antisocial behaviour Scotland Act 2004 has sections for forcing private landlords to take action... come on Engerland, where are you??

Most council staff are trendy lefties. Many senior police officers are too (they are political appointees, so no surprises there). The only thing likely to get action is if you expose them.

We have a problem with anti social behaviour across the road from us. The police have told us to keep calling them. As soon as we see something call them. Don't suffer. They said if you don't call it won't give them a need to up their patrols and start to highlight a hot spot. It's not for you to spend loads of time on although I know these things are hard and it's difficult not too. It's for the police to deal with. Ring the non emergency number and ask to remain anonymous. Seak advice from the call centre operative as to how you can find a long term solution. Get them to outline what they will do about it. That's all I can say really - keep calling the police it's up to them to solve the problem.

Having worked for both a Police force and a Local Authority, you might say that's the inside track ...

Its awful when you live next door to anti social people. Some years ago I had the misfortune to have junkies (& prostitutes, though they weren't plying their trade) living behind me and two doors down there was a "crack" house. The police did close the crack house down and either the junkies behind me left of their own accord or were evicted. Either way the junkies robbed most houses in the street (including mine twice) and surrounding streets as well. I eventually managed to sell up and get out.
The police & local authority will help and it is easier to cope with if you have a close circle of family & friends nearby to help.
