My grandfather was a lawyer in Scotland, & whenever tasked with drawing up a Will, included Power of Attorney in the job.

He regarded it as being of equal importance, made it clear at the start & his clients pretty quickly either agreed & paid the rate for the work or took their trade elsewhere.
