Hi
Apologies in advance if I've posted in the wrong place...!
My wife and I have had our property on the market for about a year. We're making little progress and struggling to get people in. We're really wanting to move now, so we're thinking about using one of those "buy your property" quickly companies.
As a result, I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on who to use/avoid (or a list of companies). Any hints or tips and any general advice.
I know we're likely to take a reduced price, but how much etc?
Any advice is appreciated
Thanks

I'd be very cautious of using one - take a look at this thread for example:

You might be better off reducing your asking price substantially if you want to sell it quickly.0 -
The quick companies will generally offer no more than 70% of the house value. You'd probably be better dropping the price yourself by 15-20% and hopefully that will increase the interest. When we sold our house recently it wasn't getting much interest until we dropped 10% off the price and then got it sold within 2 weeks.0
