It was Tesco with me. Same story but was for tshirts. Usually they just sort it out but in this branch (one I've not used before or since) they refused so I told them to take everything back & refund my money. Didn't get the tshirts but I was only buying them because they were supposedly cheap!!
Last Wednesday, Asda had Turner Road Merlot Red & White wine on the end of an aisle as a Special Offer of £3.00 so I got 3 bottles of Red. On arriving home and on checking the till receipt found that I had been charged £6.65 a Bottle for the wine. I took it all back today as I was not paying that for it, when I took it to customer services, someone went to check the price, came back discussing it with other 2 members of staff and said it had been on offer the weekend prior to when we bought it but the sign hadnt been taken down so would give us it at the offer price as a gesture of GOODWILL, which is a load of rubbish as it has to be sold at the displayed price, so I was refunded the difference. I would advise everyone to ALWAYS check ASDA receipts as on numerous occassions we have been overcharged.0 -

They do, or did, however give you a £2 gift voucher if they make a mistake. You generally have to ask for it, mind..0
