I think we might be getting some where
What is the difference between sentbox and outbox on outlook express ?0 -
When you click Send on an email it goes into the Outbox. Then OE connects to the mail server and sends the email and, if successful, moves it to Sent Items.
So the Outbox contains emails that are waiting to be sent and Sent Items contains emails that have been sent.0 -
I used your guide above expresso and thought we might be getting somewhere but my sent emails are sitting in my outbox
No idea what to do now
Any idvice very much appreciated0 -
OK, the only thing that I can think of is that if you have now changed your ISP to AOL, you will only be able to use BT mail accounts if you pay for POP3 access. i.e. you can only send mail using BT as your ISP. You should have received an e-mail from BT if this is the case giving you prior warning.Changed your Internet Service Provider (ISP)?
If you've changed your ISP but want to keep your BT Openworld or BT Internet email address, our Premium Mail package may be helpful. For just £1.50 a month, you gain:
POP3/SMTP access for your email accounts
a webmail account with 2GB of storage space

I had been with euro1net for six monthes before I moved to aol
But I had never tried to set up outlook express before.
The problem is if I do not get outlook express set up I will never be able to send links, screenshots and every thing else that seems to link thru outlook express.0 -
If I get somebody to come and look at it and hopefully sort it out.
How do I go about this
Is there national companies who do this and what sort of prices do they charge. ?0 -
I am receiving email in outlook express (my old bt email) and I have just found I can send email thru my aol adress in outlook express
All I need to do now is :
When people receive my email it needs to Look like it has come from my btinternet address as opposed to my aol adress
If someone can answer this I will gladly close this thread
Please help0 -
In OE, click Tools - Accounts - on Mail tab double-click your AOL account - on General tab enter your BT internet address in Email address.0
