Hey PAP :hello:
I have a new car which was £1200 (from savings for now), my old car still damaged (only scratches, sailed through MOT) and £1360 to fix the old car but have a quote for £800 to get it fixed. So the plan is get the old car fixed and sell it, then pay back savings! No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Good evening! Ooh, Pap is back! :hello:
I am still plodding along, trying and failing not to spend too much. Slightly worried about my credit card which took another hammering due to my birthday weekend and R's birthday. N starts school on Wednesday (or rather, the nursery attached to the school), so I won't have to pay childcare any more during term time, but as it is mostly covered by tax credits anyway, it won't make any difference to my finances. It will mean I have an afternoon free each week though.
Things still wonderful with Blindfold Guy, just counting down the days until I see him again.
I went to a party from work at the weekend and it was utterly disasterous, felt so out of place and ripped my favourite dress. It's not repairable and I was devastated to have to get rid of it!
So, my list of things:
1. To get the kids settled into the new school year and for them both to be happy there
2. To get out of debt
3. To finish decorating my house
4. To overhaul my garden and make it a pleasant and useful space
5. To find a job I am really good at, that I don't hate
6. To find a way to be with Blindfold Guy full-time, without causing any stress for the kids
7. To find a degree course in something that really interests me and stick at it
8. To re-find my love of running
9. To feel comfortable with my appearance
10. To see more of my friends and stop running away from close friendships"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Hi Snaggs, did you get my pm way back when? Oh and who is Blindfold guy? And should I ask why he got his nickname or brush over that :rotfl: I am a bit out of the loop
I did, but by the time I saw it, it was weeks out of date and you hadn't been online for a while, so I had presumed I was too late to answer. If you still want the details though, I shall PM you now.
Blindfold guy is someone I met online in April and we became friends but no more, due to complicated circumstances (his marriage was ending). We didn't meet until 6 weeks ago, having waited until his separation was all settled and his separation agreement (as he lives in Scotland so is getting divorced under Scottish law) was all signed and lodged with the lawyers, so that we could start with a clean slate, as two single people.
Somewhere along the way though we managed to fall absolutely head over heels for each other, and it is looooovely! He is so nice, not an idiot like the men I have dated in the past.
He is called blindfold guy just because his profile photo on his blog had him wearing a blindfold, because his party trick is that he can play the Moonlight Sonata on the piano, blindfolded. For once, there's no rudeness behind this story.
