Pooks I went to FSFG....used to be the tech for girls. Horrible uniform! BLEH! And I really want mini-nalles, hopefully they'll get his looks and talent and my brain. And they'll speak two languages from when they learn to talk.

That's where I went too We had the beige jumpers and socks, blue skirt and beige winter blouse and blue summer one....vile, utterly vile. You were a lot later than me - did the change the uniform by then?

Had this horrible blue and green kilt with blue jumper and blue blouse in the winter up until Yr 10, then it was dark blue skirt and blue blouse, and light blue skirt and white polo shirt in the summer. Then they brought in sweatshirts and much later trousers. It was disgusting, truly vile. And they used to measure how high the skirt was above knee and how high heels were. Weirdos.....Did you ever have Miss Neads for Latin...she was weird

No, I didn't come across her. I had Mrs Kennedy as a form tutor, along with Mr Scanlan at some stage....they were both still there when I went to look around with DD1.

Mrs Kennedy was there when I was there, she took our drama class and didn't care AT ALL. Mr Scanlan was my favourite Physics teacher...although Mr Gower was a git for maths....

I had Mr Gower too! How strange. Mrs Kennedy was our form tutor for year 4 and 5 and was as wet as a wet thing from wet land. Our 5th year form room was that drama building on the field near the language labs/near clewer and we used to sneak the boys up Clewers drive and hide them in the props room whilst she did the register. :D

Ok, my ten:

1. To finish a book (and ideally get it published).
2. To be debt free.
3. For dad to understand and accept my illnesses.
4. To be a healthy weight.
5. To find a man crazy enough to want to be with me.
6. To get a precise diagnosis of my immune problem.
7. To graduate with a 2:1.
8. To get an MA.
9. To get the flat decluttered.
10. For my ancient heating system to be condemned and get something which works.

Yup, I know the one you meant, we used to have drama in there. Used to have my form room in the mobiles near the Martello Tower, and in years 9 and 10 we were above the Head of Lower School's office (Mrs Lofting when I was there)

Blimey - were the mobiles still standing? I hated the school and it's Dickenson attitudes but the grounds were fantastic...how many schools had a martello tower! I used to love the St Stephens area too. I took great delight in showing DD1 where all my old form rooms were but she decided against going there and went to DGGs instead.
