Faulty iphone 3gs

Upgraded to the iphone 3gs with t mobile less than a month ago, but the phone today started to develop a fault with its "home key" the fault its intermittent but does show most when accessing email . I`ve done all the usual resets/restores etc still no joy, as this is within the 1st 30 days of purchase am i able to get this phone replaced by t mobile? Not sure on their returns policy on this one as when you ugrade with them you only get 7 days to return the phone if i`m not happy with it. Not keen on being passed onto apple as it was t mobile who sold me the phone and it should be up to them to remedy the situation 1st surely,Spoken to t mobile on 150 and the rep told me to take it in store, i did not buy it in store it was purchased direct from t mobile tele sales. This phone is supposed to last me another 2 years..and not break down in the 1st few weeks ..not good.

  • This is well known problem. I had it (twice!) on my old iPhone. A relatively cheap and easy repair. Do a Google to find details of the problem and repairers. The seller of the phone should fix it for free though....
  • Apple should replace the phone for you. Search on their website for your nearest Apple Store and give them a call for a "genius appointment". Essentially, this is where you go in, show them the problem and they either fix it or replace it.
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.
