Just phone up Tesco mobile. I phoned up on Monday to reserve one when they came in and they had phoned me back yesterday. Really friendly and helpful salesman too - for a change!0 -
can i ask what number u rang on? I have been going into our nearest superstore for the last 2 weeks and told repeatedly out of stock and when i look online it says u must visit a store. can anyone advise? thansk0

I emailed them to complain, about the lack of stock but also that the 'register for more information' bit had disappeared. They said it had been taken down as too many people were registering!
They also said that I'd need to go to the stores but to phone up before travelling. But they don't have any!
I can understand lack of stock for a while after the release but it is very funny that all the major phone companies now have stock available, even online for me to buy right now. Why don't Tesco? They shouldn't be advertising in their stores if they're just not going to have any stock.0 -

I just asked if they had any iphone 4's in stock and they said no but they would take my name and number and phone when they did as they were expecting a delivery shortly.
I also did the same in store but never heard from them. I suspect they all go out to those people who have shown an interest so don't ever reach the store.0 -
I was phoning every morning. You have to ignore the automated message which says they don't have any. Having been told every day for over two weeksthey didn't have any stock we went on holiday and I didn't phone for a week. When we got back I phoned them later than normal (I had been phonong when they opened at 8am, this time it was 8.45) and they offered to take my number and call me back when they got some in. They called back 30 minutes later. I've no idea why they offered to call me back that day when they hadn't before, or why they suddenly had some so soon after but I wasn't complaining! If you are willing to keep trying I'm sure you will get one in the end, just takes a bit of time.

I rang this morning and was told they would ring me back at ten when they had stock and true to their word they did. I had a problem with my card stopping because of the distance selling and they waited whilst I ok'ed with my bank and then completed my order. So do keep on trying as this is my first week of ringing and some have been pretty off when you get through but some are really helpful.
