Kind of. I am looking to buy a similar property but in a cheaper part of the country (near my work).0

same as us! We sold this year. Had a 3 bed semi and have just moved to a 2 bed flat. Soooo much better. We don't need all that space and extra house-work. Now I can hoover up in 5 minutes instead of 20! Plus the bills are cheaper too - always a bonus0 -

Bigger house with a 1/3rd acre plot next to it in Brecon Beacons moving from Hampshire.
We decided to do this following my other half having a breast cancer scare earlier in the year. Kinda made us realise what is really important.
We are doing it to reduce our mortgage thus ease the need to work such long hours (inevitable in my line of work) and spend more time together as a family.
Because we both work from home we can locate ourselves anywhere that has a phone and internet.
Lovely part of the world, more relaxed way of life and re-structuring my business so that I personally work fewer hours (currently in excess of 60+ a week)
Never really thought that mortgage brokers had mortgages! I guess you at least know you've got the best deal, or do you indemnify yourself against making a mistake?
I grew up in South Wales and would love to move back. Just moved to a houe with 200 ft x 60 ft garden, but its not the same as open countryside or a beach!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
