can anyone recommend a good sat nav?

in Motoring
got to do some cross city trips soon for a few weeks and its really important i dont get lost (as those that know me will testify i get lost in my own house given the chance) and cant rely on anyone else to get me there and back so need to buy a sat nav. i need one that i customise the route on as much as possible
any recommendations? i know it'll cost me £100 plus but i am quite prepared for that

I have TomTom on my iPhone and it is excellent. Holds a good satellite lock, and can even play the sound back through your speakers if your head unit has an aux-in port.====0 -

You'll probably need to incur the cost of a cradle for it too
