Wrong salutation on boarding pass

Aww no.. I've just discovered my boarding pass saluation is Mr instead of Miss. It is written on the first line of the boarding pass.

Flying Jet2. It costs £30 each way to change it.

Do you think I should call them to change it or risk it?

I had the same problem, United said not to worry.

If your passport doesn't say Mr, Mrs, Ms or Miss, then I don't see there is a problem. Your name is still correct. The salutation is merely a technicality!

It wouldn't be a problem on my airline. The name itself is all that is important. Can't say i can recall any passports that have a title on in any case.

As your passport doesn't have your title in it then it doesn't matter. I frequently end up with tickets stating Mrs xxxx when i'm unmarried and i use the title Miss. Even though the gender is incorrect it shouldn't make any difference at all. It could just be that Mr is the default on the system and whomever issued the tickets hasn't bothered to change it to the correct title.

I work for Jet2.com. The salutation is a technicality (of sorts) but it will affect which gender you are classified as in the system. For accuracy on all the various legal paperwork the airline has to keep, you should be classified correctly so pay a visit to the Jet2.com Sales and Information Desk at the airport and get it changed (free) before you fly.
