Did they say this was definitely the reason or did the advisor just say that she presumed that was the reason?
The reason I ask is that I just had a look at the standard term dates for Leeds University and Lancaster University and they both appear to have 31 teaching weeks. Though it is possible that the teaching weeks for the particular courses which your daughter has transferred from/to are different.0 -
He said he had asked 2 supervisors and they both said the same. I will have to proove that they are the same to get the money.0

Their first calculation could have been wrong, this is the only thing I can think of.

Theres a calculator there. Fill in all your details and see what it says your DD should get. She if it matches either the original assessment, or the new assessment.0 -
I have just used the calculator and it came up with the new amount so maybe it was an incorrect offer . Just our luck!!!!!! but why can't they admit that they may have made a mistake?:(0

Leeds Met course runs over 30 weeks as opposed to 31 at Lancaster and Leeds has this caused the reduction in maintenance loan?0
