Hello. Can anyone advise me how to contact the Inland Operator <100> with TT?
I have spent 2 hours on the phone to them. They are hopepless. Cut me off or tell me to phone 0800 800 150.
When I call that number, I am connected to BT who say phone TALKTALK.
I wish I had never signed up. You don't miss BT till you haven't got them.

Which company do you make your calls through?
0800 800 150 is BT Sales but it can get you through to many/most BT departments.
What exactly do you want?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

As you pay line rental to Talk Talk, dialling 100 should get you through to 'your' operator.
The fact that the Talk Talk operator(s) is/are hopeless has nothing to do with BT (or anybody else for that matter).
The 'advice' from the Talk Talk operator to call 0800 800 150 was just to get rid of you.
But Talk Talk is cheap, right?Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Inland Operator ?, I cannot see the point of calling 100 these days, in the past if you had trouble getting a number the operator could connect the call or arrange to get the number you were dialing tested (and reported if found to be faulty) but these days an operator connected call would cost a fortune and with so many companys offering service I would have thought any call to 100 to say I cannot get throught to a particular number would be met with either 'we can try to connect you at XX per minute and a connection fee of x' or 'report it to your service provider'...when you say Inland Operator do you mean you want to speak to BT Operator Services on 100 ?, but why would you if you are a TT customer, or just someone from TT who isnt based off-shore ?,0

It says here ... http://www.talktalkmembers.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-5680.html
The BT Inland Operator 100 from a BT phone line is only available to BT customers
If you're not a BT customer, the BT operator is not a service available to you.
You can phone 0800 800 150 for BT but they won't provide their operator service to you.
Phone 100 and use the TalkTalk operator.
The service provided by the TalkTalk operator is subject to TalkTalk level of service, which is crap.0 -
Hi All,
As confirmed above the services offered by BT are not always available when connected to TalkTalk. This si confirmed in the Terms and Conditions
As such dialling 100 will not connect to the BT Operator services but rather route to TT customer services line, if you are connected to TT equipment at your exchange.
