  • At that end of the market a phone is a phone really. Go to Argos, see whichever one takes your fancy. If all you need to do is make calls and send texts, any phone will be fine and it's more a case of which one takes your fancy in appearances.
  • I take it there's a specific reason you want a phone on O2 - can you expand on that?
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.

I would get a cheap Nokia from CPW PAYG. Their phones, at that end of the market, are unlocked, so you could use a Tesco cheap sim in it. They run on the O2 backbone and check out their instore current £10 per month deal running on other threads here.

2730s are very good and even have OVImaps, by the way. Link with Outlook via PC Suite (free) for back up and later transfer to next phone.
  • i am on O2 12 month sim only are all phones sold by CPW come unlocked? many thanks

95% are. But you have to go PAYG and buy a PAYG sim with credit at the same time. With PAYG at CPW, if Orange is £10 for the top up sim and O2 is £15, go Orange - it's the same handset.
